AW Do Judge A Book By Its Cover: Perfect on Paper

Why we like/dislike it: I’ve honestly never seen a cover like this that I’m aware of. Having the heart upside-down with the author’s name in graph-like boxes below are both really unique and would certainly warrant a second look. What I’m not so sure about is that paintbrush…why exactly is it on the cover? Obviously it was used to draw the heart, but beyond that I’m not sure how it ties into the story and if it should be there. Otherwise I really like the cover!

Would we buy this book based on its cover?Possibly, I’d at least pick it up for a second glance!

I agree that I haven’t seen a cover like this before. Unfortunately, it doesn’t do much for me. I like the heart, but apart from that, it just seems pretty plain. I think I’d like it more if the background wasn’t white.
