AW Book News: Nine Uses For An Ex-Boyfriend by Sarra Manning

A book that’s definitely making my list of must-read books for 2012 is Sarra Manning’s Nine Uses For An Ex-Boyfriend! Now, I have to say, I must be on a UK release kick because I have yet to discover if it will be published in the US at any time during 2012, but I’m determined to get my hands on a copy.

Thanks to the fabulous Angie from Angieville and her post at The Book Smugglers I discovered that only a few weeks ago Sara revealed the cover & synopsis on her blog and I have to say I’m already beyond thrilled to read it. Take a look:

Hope Delafield hasn’t always had an easy life.

She has red hair and a temper to match, as her mother is constantly reminding her. She can’t wear heels, is terrified of heights and being a primary school teacher isn’t exactly the job she dreamed of doing, especially when her class are stuck on the two times table.

At least Hope has Jack, and Jack is the God of boyfriends. He’s sweet, kind, funny, has a killer smile, a cool job on a fashion magazine and he’s pretty (but in a manly way). Hope knew that Jack was The One ever since their first kiss after the Youth Club Disco and thirteen years later, they’re still totally in love. Totally. They’re even officially pre-engaged. And then Hope catches Jack kissing her best friend Susie…

Does true love forgive and forget? Or does it get mad… and get even?

Isn’t that a gorgeous cover?! I’m completely in love with it and all that blue! So pretty! I can’t wait to read it, hopefully very soon!

What do you think? Have you read any Sarra Manning books and do you have a favorite?
