Tedeschi Trucks Band Sets Ten-Night March Run at Manhattan's Beacon

The Tedeschi Trucks Band will return to New York City's Beacon Theater next year for a ten-night residency, beginning March 16. The run continues through March and into early April, with a presale set for Oct. 28 and general sales opening Oct. 30.

The Schedule and Ticketing

The residency includes shows on March 16, 17, 19, 20, 24, 26, 27 and 31, followed by two performances on April 2 and 3. Fans can find ticketing details on the band's website, which lists the presale and public sale timing.

A Long Relationship With the Beacon

The band has built an annual habit of playing the Upper West Side venue, a tradition that echoes the Allman Brothers Band. The Allmans opened their Beacon run in 1989 with four nights and went on to play 238 shows there before their final concert together on the same stage.

Susan Tedeschi described the approach to the residencies in a 2014 interview with The Aquarian. She said the band aims to make the shows fun and a little wild, much as the Allman Brothers did during their Beacon years.

Other Dates on the Calendar

The band also has five shows scheduled in Japan next month, before the New York run. Next summer, it plans another residency, this time at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
